This is an 2004 E450 Diesel I will not start a light on the dash says there is water in the fuel how do I get the water out of the fuel short of dropping the fuel tank and dumping it all out other then that it makes a clicking sound when ever I turn the key

Replace the fuel filter and check to see if there is a separate water trap, you do not have to drain the tank unless you have a load of contaminated fuel, most fuel filters have a water trap built into the bottom, if there is a wire going to the bottom of the filter this is the float that activates when water builds up in the bottom of the filter.
