2004 Ford Mustang shift noise

when I shift from first to second I hear a kinda a metal popping sound. just started doing it. it drives fine no vibration or any other noises shifts fine clutch feels the same just makes that noise when shifting gears

this may need the trans torn down. it may be not going into gear all theway causing that sound so check if shifter feel s loose then have a local guy look at it. make sure there is flid in trans.
