think i may have a gearbox problem not sure

have a mondeo 2lt zetec estate had a compleat clutch kit fitted in may 2010 when driving the other day i changed gear it made that noise like when you havent put it into gear properly then i couldnt put it into gear when car was started but could use all gears when car was switched off put cat into 1st gear when car was off started the car coul drive the car using gears but the gears were stiff please help

It sounds like the clutch is not dis-engaging all the way.
You have a hydraulic clutch system that handles this job. It is just like brakes except to make you go, nt stop. When you have air in the brake lines you have to pump the brakes.
The clutch will not do its job if it has air in hydraulic system.
The other possibility is that a defective part may be at fault or parts not meant to work together. The clutch system you installed might not work with the hydraulic master cylinder in the truck. You may need a different clucth that matches displacement size and ratio.

So, you might have to bleed the sytem or het the master cylinder that was meant to work with the system.
