I recently allowed my 54 to run out of fuel and started getting the glow plug light flashing and the car running in limp mode or cuts out completely on numerous occasions since then, I have replaced the fuel filter and had a diagnostic check do

What was the troble codes retrieved and what have you done so far?

Oh sorry about that the trouble codes were p1211 and p0251. The car runs in limp mode and occasionaly cuts out. The glow plug light flashes and engine light illuminates. Have changed fuel filter so far. Thanks

The problem usually occurs in 5th gear at above 60ish when accelerating

Vehicles nowadays are rather complicated and complex and we are US based so our database contains vehicles sold in the US therefore information for others are not available.

Not all experts are are able to help in all cases and if I fail to, there could be others that can help.
