I HAVE A FLUID LEAK IN THE MIDDLE FRONT OF MY 2004 FREESTAR. THEY REPLACED THE OIL PAN PLUG THINKING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. THE LEAK CONTINUED. COULD IT BE THE POWER STEERING FLUID OR THE BRAKE FLUID?

The fluid is yellowish/with a tint of brown. The car is not driven very much but leaks constantly while just sitting in the garage. Recently had the oil changed so they thought maybe the oil pan plug. No such luck, they changed it and it is still leaking. Not sure if it could be brake fluid or power steering fluid.

It may be coolant, get the cooling system pressure tested first, this is a simple test that will locate any external coolant leaks.
