Cruise control "on" switch will not work intermittently

Cruise work perfectly when I can get it to turn on. After repeatedly pressing the on switch, sometimes I can get it to work. Again, the system works fine in all modes and functions after I get it to turn on. If the problem is the switch, need some instruction on replacing it. Thanks

you'll have to check to see if switch is sending a signal first and brake isn't knocking it off. it could be a relay that is going bad or not making a good connection.
