2004 Ford Focus lights flicker

lights began to flicker and both low beam headlights blew out,high beams still work,they and rear lights still flicker . I am worried if I put new lights in they will blow out too what should I do

A bad ground, bad electrical connection, faulty voltage regulator... can cause a flicker. Does your car have an alternator gauge on the dash? Have you checked for loose connections at the battery, ground at the engine block...?
