i have a 2004 f250 diesel 4 wheel drive.. the battery light flickers and the truck will surge lightly going down the road. checked all grounds and had batteries and charging system checked. was told it could be my cam position sensor...any help?

not for a battery light.

have the high pressure oil pump checked first for output
