I have a 2004 ford f250 superduty diesel 4x4. When I drive it in the morning it starts up just fine but when I stop off to get coffee, I return to my truck a it won't turn over. I have had to wait 3 hours before it will turn over again. What can it possibly be? I have already replaced the started, glow plugs and glow plug relay. What else can it be? Please help, Wendy

You need to check the powers to the starter relay, the power from ignition switch to relay and the pcm ground. it may be beyond you and best left to a shop that is good at electrical.

When it does not start, is the starter turning the engine?
