2004 f250 super duty ac compressor is rapping

Noises on the AC compressor-could be wrong type of oil, air in the system, operating pressure too high and the compressor could be on its way out-

RAPPING IS NEVER A GOOD THING!
SOUNDS LIKE IT'S ABOUT TO BE TERMINAL...MAYBE FROM LACK OF OIL
DOES IT DO IT FULL TIME OR JUST WHEN ENGAGED....THE LATER WOULD BE THE BEST SCENARIO, IF THE PULLEY WILL SPIN FREE AND NO "RAPPING"
I'D GET IT IN A GOOD PLACE TO DO REPAIRS, BEFORE IT LOCKS UP, AND COSTS YOU A TOW BILL ETC ETC, IF THE FREE WHEELING OPTION IS OUT
