Is the front (part # 23200) and rear (part #27000) window regulator interchangeable? My front drivers side motor has failed and the cable has spooled. It will be awhile until I can replace it and I was wondering if I could swap it out with the back window regulator assembly. I understand that the part #'s are different, but, after looking at the diagrams on the FordParts. Com website they look identical. Need to have an operating front window

I LOOKED IT UP AT 2 DIFFERENT ONLINE PARTS STORES

APPEARS THERE ARE DIFFERENCES (AND DIFFERENT PART#s) ON ALL 4 WINDOWS, CREW AND EXTENDED CAB

IF IT WERE THE SAME, SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF WORK DOIN' ALL OF THAT SWAPPING!

I FOUND THE DRIVER'S SIDE MOTOR AND REGULATOR FOR $89.99

IF YOU WISH, I CAN SHOW YOU HOW TO GET THIS EXACT SAME PUPPY FROM THE SAME REPUTABLE PLACE FOR $65!

WHAT A DEAL!

WOULD THAT HELP YOU?

Thanks for your speedy reply. What's your opinion of some of these after market products compared to OEM? I see that the price is good but what about the quality?

I SELDOM USE STEALERSHIP STUFF

I'M STILL LIVING IN THE CARBURETOR DAYS, AND WILL AS LONG AS I CAN

NOW-A-DAYS, THIS COMPUTER CRAP FORCES YOU TO SEEK OUT A STEALERSHIP, AS THEY ARE MOST LIKELY THE ONLY ONES TO RE-BOOT ONE OR SELL "SPECIAL PARTS" ONLY THEY HAVE.

I HAVE FOUND THAT AFTERMARKET STUFF IS JUST AS RELIABLE AS THE OEM STUFF

HERE'S WHAT I WANT YOU TO LOOK AT AND STUDY THE "TECHNIQUES"

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/2001-dodge-neon-milage-just-want-put-fliuds-their-locations

AFTER THAT

HERE'S WHAT I FOUND

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/dorman-oe-solutions-power-window-regulator-and-motor-assembly-741-430/99998328-P?searchTerm=window+regulator

YOU CAN MAKE "DRY RUNS" TO INSURE THE DISCOUNT IS STILL USABLE, BEFORE YOU COMMIT WITH A CARD

YES, "A124" IS STILL WORKING EVEN AFTER ALL OF THIS TIME

ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU DIVE IN?
