Dash temp. display not working after overheating would thermostat stuck open cause this and trying to set radiator fan thermostat what should temp in radiator reach before fans come on 2004 f150 5.4 3v triton

had after market radiator fan therm set at highest temp left idle in parking lot overheated now dash temp display is not up to normal range low temp reading check engine lite on dont know code yet could thermostat stuck open cause this

Yes, if the thermostat is stuck open, coolant may be flowing too fast.
