My car has recently starting having a vibration upon first moving from a parked position. It happens both in forward and reverse. It has an automatic transmission (just rebuilt, but mechanic indicates this is not related). Once I start moving, it seems to dissipate until the next time I park the car (obviously with e-brake applied), then it happens again. I had the brakes checked; no issue there that they could find. I'm really puzzled with this one.

Thanks for the thought; interesting because it seemed to have started right after I had the transmission rebuilt. Will do what you suggest, and then if it looks to be the case I will be having a discussion with the transmission shop. Keep you posted.
