Hello,

When the onboard diagnostics of the vehicle detects an issue within the ABS system the light gets triggered. It can be due to a number of reasons.
It can be one of the wheel speed sensors (ABS sensor), faulty module or even a wiring issue.

The best course of action would be to first have the vehicle scanned for ABS trouble codes. This can help with the diagnostic process.
