I have 2004 ford escape xlt .I have continouous problems with my brake hose why?

last summer I had 3 brake hoses bust in less than 2 weeks. last week put over a $1,000 into including a brake job. On the way home tonight I lost my brakes busted the driver side rear brake hose ? Why?

You need to fix the hose and then inspect the brakes for any other damages if okay bleed the master cylinder and go from there
