Van idles funny. Rpm go up and down. While in traffic van won't stay running unless you continuously give it gas. Also check engine light came on but no code was found when the reader was hooked up.

Try cleaning the idle air control valve/throttle body with a carb cleaner and the mass air flow sensor with a CRC electronic cleaner and see what happens-start here
