Last week the heck engine light went on and the mechaic adjusted the gas cap and it went off. He showed me what to do. This week I put gas in the car Sunday and everything was alright. Today on Thursday the check engine light went on again and I tried taking the the gas cap off and putting it back on-nothing light is still on. Can there be another reason why this is happening?
