My car has the normal cold idle not a problem..But even if it's a op temperature and I go into the store and come back out and start it, It isn't as high as a cold idle but it idles at about 1000 rpm for 8 or so seconds then drops to normal idle 800 rpm or something...When it's warmed up when I start it shouldn't it just drop to normal idle?

it may be your throttle plate is sticky, try cleaning on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner. that may cure it.
