I just need to know if when changing the oil pan , does the motor need removed.

The info I looked at was for 2.7L es stratus, not coupe
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove engine oil dipstick and tube. Safely raise and support the vehicle. Drain engine oil and remove oil filter. Remove structural collar. Remove exhaust cross-under pipe. Remove torque converter housing cover. Remove lower bolt attaching the ac compressor to oil pan. Remove oil pan attaching fasteners. Remove oil pan and gasket. No you don't have to remove engine.
