The heater in car doesn't work, but did yesterday

And the antifreeze is boiling. What could be the problem? Heater worked yesterday but not today, only blows cold air. When the vehicle is driven we parked it and the antifreeze was boiling and we could hear it when we walked by it but the temp indicator never registered hot.

It sounds like the blend door actuator for the temperature needs to be replaced.
