Check engine light on?

I have a a dodge stratus. when i start it up the frist time it started right up, no problems. drove it up and down the drive way a few times. idles just right, but when i ruv it up it has a clank at 2000 rpm, i trun it off. go to start it back up wont start. try again starts but very very weak. have to hit the gas to get it going. what could that be. fuel filter clogged maybe. it sounds and acts like im not getting fuel
