Only when I accelerate. I checked the u-joints (applied park brake, trans. In neutral, and checked for play in the joints). Is that correct procedure?

yes but also look for rust deposit around the cup area.

also, check the rear motor mount on the transmission for play or wear

I don't see any rust deposits, and no wear at all on the mount.

the other possibility is the driveshaft being out of balance
