Hi, I have a 2004 dodge ram, and I want to know which wiring harness that can fit on to 2 bull bar fog lights. Both lights have a black and a red wire with no connectors.

I DON'T THINK I'D SPLICE INTO ANY WIRE ON A MORE MODERN VEHICLE, EVERYTHING HOOKS TO A COMPUTER OR SOME KINDA OF MODULE. BAD/ EXPENSIVE THINGS MIGHT HAPPEN

I'D COME OFF OF THE BATTERY

FUSE IT RIGHT OFF THE BATTERY

USE A RELAY IN THE SYSTEM

HERE'S A DIAGRAM I MADE FOR A FRIEND

WE WIRED IT THIS WAY SO THAT THE "ON/ OFF" SWITCH IS MERELY A GROUND FOR THE RELAY. THIS ALLOWED HIM TO RUN JUST ONE WIRE TO THE SWITCH, HE GROUNDED HIS SWITCH A FEW INCHES AWAY FROM THE SWITCH

DOING IT THIS WAY KEEPS FROM HAVING TO RUN A HOT WIRE TO AND FROM THE SWITCH, IF THAT WIRE EVER GOT "SKINNED" OR "GROUNDED OUT" THE FOG LIGHTS WOULD COME ON (THERE WOULD BE NO "SHORT")

IN CASE THE RELAY NUMBERS ARE UN-READABLE ON THE DIAGRAM

"87" IS AT THE TOP

"30" IS AT THE BOTTOM

"86" IS TO THE LEFT

"85" IS TO THE RIGHT

THERE ARE OTHER VARIATIONS YOU CAN DO

I STRONGLY SUGGEST THE FUSE BEING LOCATED JUST AS YOUR WIRE FEED LEAVES THE BATTERY, WHATEVER SET UP YOU TRY

THIS STUFF IS A LOT CHEAPER AT RADIO SHACK, THE RELAY IS A 30/ 40 AMP (ABOUT $5)

PIC 2) SHOWS A COUPLE OF MY RELAYS ON MY '77 JEEP CJ-5, ONE IS TO THE COMPRESSOR FOR MY TRAIN HORN, THE OTHER IS FOR SECOND HEATER (EXTRA HEAT)

LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES
