Have a 2004 intrepid with 3.5L engine. Timing belt broke and when I installed a new one, and re-set the timing, I get compression on the left side, but no compression on the right side (cylinders 1, 3 and 5).
Is there anything else I should do before taking off the cylinder head?

Pray. Even closed valves will have compression, only bent ones don't.

You can watch the valves as you crank it, bent ones will stay down. Email me at merlin2021@comcast. Net and I will send the guide to do the job. Count on a new (reman) head and valves, check pistons for holes!
