One night i finished driving my truck
parked it 2days later i started my truck now it has a loud tapping sound.So i went and got a oilchange and it still sounds the same.Can you give me an idea as to what this can be

The durango is a v8 with 100k

It sounds like a collapsed lifter. However, it should pump itself up. If it continues making noise, stop at a local parts store and see if they have anything for sticking lifters.
