Chech engine light came on at the on-ramp and the car started to buck. Got off expressway and went to mechanic. Code was to replace camshaft position sensor which he did. Problem solved, but now idles high, 1700 rpmn in neutral, 1100 in gear. Check engine came back on after an hour of driving and still rpm's are high. What can it be?

Check for vacuum leaks and the idle air control valve. If the light is back on, have the computer scanned to identify what code is set now. Most parts stores will do it for free.
