2004 chyrsler seebring convert transmission 64000 miles runs perfect that is until on the way home from work the transmission shifts up great but when i slow down to the red light it shifts hard before I stop what the heck happened

could be sensor malfunction or control module glitch (may be reprogrammable)or need replacement. or fluid contamination or solenoid sticking in trans or some odd unpredictable malfunction that may require replacement rebuild of valve body or whole trans. you could stop at a trans shop and have them diagnos it if they can? they may have delt with this issue on your model before?
