I live in northern South Dakota and we have recenlty had some cold mornings. My daughter asked me why her car takes so long to heat up. Knowing the colder the morning the longer it will take, but it does seem to take a long time before warm air comes out the vents. I have a 5.3 L Chevy pickup and it warms up a lot faster than her smaller engine. Could the thermostat be bad?
