What would go out on the passengers side door window it will go down but it won't go up with either switch drivers side or passengers

in all likelyness it is the master switch on the drivers side,the passenger side switch has to work thru it.

Could be master switch, could be passenger switch, could be motor, could be regulator. Until the circuit is inspected and tested, you won't know.

Let me also add that I just had this exact vehicle (Pontiac Montana) with the exact same problem yesterday and it was the passenger switch.

you are correct wrenchtech,that is pretty crappy advise,i don't know if i misread the question,or was half asleep or what.that is the worst advise i have ever given or read. i apologize to the original poster and to the 2 car pros team.
