I replaced the front struts on the van and it did not fix the problem. When applying the brakes it feels as if the front end of the van shifts to the left-almost like the subframe is moving. What would cause this?

First suspect would be worn control arm bushings. An alignment problem can cause that too, but the vehicle needs to be aligned when the struts are replaced so that would have been taken care of.
