My power steering in my Chevy trailblazer 2004 completely went out. I replaced the pump & it was working fine for about 4days. Now I am having trouble steering it again, but its not all the time? Could I have gotten a bad pump? Or what else could be the problem

when a pump fails, i always recommend replacing the rack and pinion as well. it sounds like debris from the rack has contaminated the new pump.
