HVAC blend door actuator driver side

the drivers side HVAC actuator for the heater is not working

Hi,

It sounds like you have a faulty blend air door actuator for the left side. With dual climate control, there are two actuators, one for the left and one for the right.

To get you started, here is a link that explains in general how one is replaced. Use this as a guide.

If you look at the attachments below, they provide the directions specific to your vehicle for replacement.

Note: The actuator will need calibration to operate correctly. The last two pics explain how it's done. The last pic provides two different methods for recalibration. One is with a scan tool and the other is without.
