My z-71 Silverado started smoking for about 2-3 seconds after start up but then it stopped. Thought it was valve guides but a week or so ago it stopped smoking all together. Does'nt smoke at all now. Was something sticking that allowed water from the radiator or oil from the heads to get in th engine to make the smoke for a couple seconds?

valve seals are common for this. if it is them, it will surely come back at some time
