2004 chevy silverado 4x4 5.3L-- when I turn left the steering is very tight but when I turn right it is normal, however when I am turning left if I accelerate it gets easier.

I checked the fluid and it was full. I lifted the front end off the ground and it turned just fine but as I put pressure back on the front end it continued to get harder to turn. Only when I turn left.
