2004 Chevrolet Silverado Silverado P0300 check engine light

Hello,
My wife had the truck out yesterday and came home to tell me the engine light came on. I pulled this info with my scanner. I dont know what much of it means tho. Any suggestions on how to repair this? I have a P0300 on my 2004 1500 V8 5.3L silverado with the check engine light on.

That's a misfire code and these are extremely hard to find the cause. It's best to let a pro do it so you don't waste time and money on things it may not need. The vacuum is low which it would with a miss so check and see if any vacuum lines are off or leaking. Otherwise let the pro take a look cause it can be any sensor or basic engine problems.
