heating needle of meter is not working and digits of km not showing

heating needle of my car meter is not working(cheverolet optra 2004). i tried by changing meter and engine temperature sensor but it did not work. second problem is that the digits of KM not displayed and on changing the meter it shows digits but not working. can u tell me the problem and its solution

Check the continuity of wiring between the temperature sending unit and meter.

Is the speedometer needle working ?
