How do you remove a stripped screw from the battery post?

Car won't start so I wanted to remove the battery to take it into auto zone for a new one. The negative side post came off okay but I find that the positive side post is stripped. How do I get it off so I can replace my battery?

Side post-Grip it with a vicegrip and turn as hard as you can
