Replaced my EGR valve on my 2004 Chevy Malibu but I am still getting a P0401 code something about a DPFE sensor. Where is that sensor located?

The DPFE sensor is found on Fords only. The code means insufficient flow so you could have an intake passage plugged up with carbon.

Ford has the DPFE not on yours

A code P0401 most likely means one or more of the following has happened:

There is a blockage in the EGR (tube), most likely carbon buildup
The EGR valve is faulty
The EGR valve may not be opening due to a lack of vaccuum

It's an electric EGR. No vacuum.
