We replaced the catalytic converter, muffler and O2 sensor. It is still glowing, and running rich, and we are still having the same problems! Check engine light is on and the only code we can pull is P0300. I need to know if this is true --could the throttle positions sensor, is bad, and its giving it too much fuel and its burning it out of the throttle body.

P0300 Random Misfires normally cuased by vacuum leaks and contaminated fuel

Probable causes of an engine running rich are as follows:

1. Excessive fuel pressure can be cause by restricted fuel return line
2. Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3. Leaking injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
4. Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5. Restricted air intake system.

What do you think about the throttle position sensor? We did replace plugs and O2 sensors. Its getting too much fuel, its burning it, its way too rich

Check what I've suggested and then comeback with your testing results-Quit assuming can be costly or bring it in to the pros
