2004 Chevrolet Impala Scanner Link Error Will Read Imissions Monitors On Scan

scanner link error, will not read for imissions, im monitors on any scan tool. several tried. car starts and runs no chk eng light on. any ideas at all would be appreciated. can not register w/o smog test.

since all computers are tied together. one of them is preventing communication. a shop has to look at each system one at a time to find the one that wont talk to the scan tool. then the repair can be made and you get an emission test
