How to replace rear window

how do I replace the rear power window in a 2004 Chevy Impala. mine broke and I got a new one but don't know exactly how to put the new one in

I found this link for you that show how to remove the regulator, once it is out you can un-tape the window and then turn the glass to the side and it will come out.

Hey Pam,

Once the regulator is out the window will tip to one side then you can just lift it out of the track. You might need to remove the mounting bolts for the window track to make it easier. Here are diagrams (Below) so you can see for yourself.

2000 Chevy Impala

I have a 2000 impala base v6 model. I was wandering what was the external back window antenna for an was wanting to kno if i could install one. I went to the junk yard an pulled one off another impala but dont know if it will plug an play in my impala. Appreciate the responses.

the mast antenna is for onstar/cellular. The radio antenna is built into the glass. Now is your radio reception poor? There is a module that plugs into the glass for defrost and antenna that could go. You would need the connector and module if yours is melted
