2004 Chevrolet Impala dead battery

drove 30 miles to work thursday. came out to go home battery dead. cables were tight, nothing left on. had jumped by tow truck. stop at discount auto to have there battery tested. they said good. went home, couple hours later went to start. dead. charged battery one hour car started fine. a few hours dead again. nothing on. solution??

Have the alternator checked is okay-you have a short circuit that's draining the battery.

Have you checked to see if the alternator is charging? Also, have you checked for electrical draws that could drain the battery?
