I hear a high pitched whistling noise from the front left side of my Colorado as I drive. It only occurs when I'm stepping on the accelerator and stops when I let up on the accelerator. It only occurs when moving, not when I'm standing still and stepping on the accelerator.

does it sound like it could be a dry wheel bearing? Have you checked to see if the brake sensor may be touching? If the sound is under the hood, have you checked for a loose belt or a vacuum leak.
