I suddenly started having an issue with my car this morning. It wouldn't start right away and when it finally did the engine was rattling and running hard when idling in drive but not so much in park and neutral. When I drive it, there seems to be no power behind it and rpm is running high. My check engine light is on steady until I excelerate then it starts blinking. My muffler sounds funny and the car sounds like it is almost "breathing heavy" I put a computer on it and it threw a code: C1759. Which was for the throttle position sensor. So I changed it. My issues with horse power and rpm are gone but the muffler still sounds terrible and it still shakes badly when it idles in drive but not in park or neutral

Have you checked to see if the catalytic converter is plugged?
