if your car is losing 5 quarts of oil in one day then there has to be a sign either wet spots on engine somewhere or smoke coming from exhaust (or both). place a large piece of cardboard under motor area and let car sit entire day, start it up until engine reaches normal operating temperature, place shifter through all gears (do not drive it anywhere) then place back in park and let it set the rest of day. you should see drips of the oil on the cardboard so you can then trace the drips to the leaks origin.
