Hello,
I have a 2004 Cavalier with a little of 100 thousand miles. My gas paddle is stuck each morning. It does it overnight. I step on the paddle and it springs back and is fine for the rest of the day. Then the next morning it’s stuck again. I later discovered high oil consumption in my air intake box, and to my surprise (although there was no leakage) I had no oil in the car. In addition; my car is starting to make a rattle noise? Is there a connected between all of this? How would you troubleshoot this problem? What should I check first?
Thanks for your help,
Lisa

Oil should be checked every fill up/

from no oil, the resulting noise may be damage to the motor from no oil

the gas pedal is most likely the throttle body sticking
