2004 Chevrolet Cavalier Air pressure

There is air pressure coming out from the opening on the valve cover going through the hose into the air box. Shouldn't it be the opposite? Should it not be sucking air from the air box into the valve cover? Any suggestions? Thank you.

check for a pcv valve not working but there stil may be air going through the hose.
