How do we get the torque converter back into the transmission

We just had to replace the rear seal. We are trying to get the car back together but the torque convertor will not go back in. We just have inches to go. What gives?

We dropped the transmission. Yeah but its cramming the fly wheel when we put the car together.

The torque convertor is cramming the fly wheel. We are trying to get the torque convertor back into the transmission.

When you insert the trans, it has to go in with 3 clicks. the input shaft, the turbine shaft and lastly, the the ears of the front pump.

Check the video above

you need to turn it by hand until you feel the last click onto the ears of the pump.
