2004 Cadillac Escalade Shut Down

Today while on the highway my truck shut down.......1st the Tranction control/ABS indicators came on then the entire dashboard went blank along with the radio, interior lights, locks stopped working. The car shut off. I assumed it was possibly the battery or a computer chip ..Can anyone help?

have the battery checked for condition including load test and have them test charging system at same time. most places do for free auto parts tire stores etc. what may have happened is battery died from charging system not putting enough out or jus the battery I shot
