loud nocking comeng from engine

Where is the kncking coming from the bottom or top?

i am not really sure it seems like it comeing from the top

We have to narrow down to the engine or something driven by the belt.You can use a long screwdriver as a listening device.Just be careful where you put the screwdriver.

i have put a screwdriver to the top of the engine and it sounds likes it comeing from there it sounds like a taping and when u give it gas the taping gets louder

i just checked the front one its a loud noise i would say out of 1-10 10 being bad its a 8

I would check both vave covers could be the timing chain lifter etc.
